The Epic Tale of Air Conditioning and Peaceful Rest:

It all began with an arrival around 4 pm, where we were informed that the air conditioning in the rooms was not available.
However, the receptionist told us that the room had been cooled down before our arrival.
Imagine our surprise when we entered the room... it was stifling. It was very unpleasant.
So, we arranged a room change with the staff, and therefore an upgrade for a small fee. We were given a room with air conditioning.

It was perfect; the room was cool, and the sweltering week of heatwave was finally over. A restful, cool sleep was slowly taking shape.

Around 11:50 pm/midnight, I woke up in a sweat... the air conditioning had stopped working. Disaster! That was the final blow. I had to open the window and finally, around 4:30-5:00 am, I enjoyed the experience of setting up breakfast on the terrace, complete with the clatter of cutlery and the movement of tables.

I slept very poorly; I have difficulty sleeping, and I'm not thanking you.

I think—and this is obviously just a guess—that under the guise of "our air conditioning system is being renovated," you're hiding a real problem with the air conditioning, which is unable to cool all the rooms during periods of high temperatures.

I won't even mention the exorbitant parking fee because I didn't pay it; I managed to park without being ripped off.

I do, however, appreciate the staff's attempts at assistance and their willingness to make some kind of gesture.

I'd like to reiterate that scheduling air conditioning "maintenance" from May to September is not a very well-chosen timeframe.

So, I'm writing this message at 5:30 a.m., unable to fall back asleep, watching the sunrise because I can't close the window and the blackout blinds for fear of suffocating in this stuffy room.

A little bonus: getting pierced at 10 a.m. – a real treat when you're desperately seeking rest.

The hotel is ideally located in the old town center of Clisson, with a very convenient private parking area. The welcome was exceptional, and the room with a river view was remarkably comfortable with excellent bedding. Dinner and breakfast were of excellent quality!
The spa, located just across the street, is very cozy, and the staff is very pleasant.

Five times the price of a room during Hellfest???
Here come the cash cows!
Should all the other businesses do the same?
Bakers should sell their baguettes for €5 and their pain au chocolat for €6!
Leclerc should multiply all its prices by 5!!!

We were delighted with the swimming pool, which we were able to fully enjoy from the moment we arrived.
Dinner was remarkable: the flavors were perfectly balanced, both for the main course and dessert, and we enjoyed it on the terrace overlooking the castle.
Breakfast was varied and offered something for everyone (hot and cold options).
Our room, which faced the street, was spacious, clean, and quiet (towels and toiletries were included). There was private, enclosed parking for €15 per night.
An idyllic and peaceful setting to which we will gladly return.

Fantastic! Excellent location. Top-notch staff! Perfect room and air conditioning. Good restaurant with a great terrace. Delicious breakfast. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.
