A wonderful getaway for my wife's birthday!

My wife and I were lucky enough to spend a night in this magnificent hotel for her birthday, and what a wonderful experience it was! 🥰

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such kindness. All the staff were pleasant, smiling, attentive, and very professional. You immediately feel that everything is done to make guests feel comfortable.

And what can I say about the view… 😍 Absolutely breathtaking, overlooking a magnificent castle! A setting that truly adds something magical to the stay.

We then enjoyed a drink at the bar and, once again, a delightful surprise: excellent products, including local specialties, in a pleasant and relaxing setting. 🍹

After a good night's sleep, it was time for breakfast… and what a breakfast it was! 🤩 An exceptional, generous, and truly delightful buffet. All in a calm and relaxing atmosphere: exactly what you're looking for when you come to spend time at a hotel and want to fully enjoy your stay.

We had also booked the spa and a massage. It's hard to describe this experience any other way than as: a truly blissful and relaxing moment! 🧖‍♀️💆‍♂️ We left feeling completely relaxed and delighted.

If we had to find one tiny point for improvement, it would perhaps be the bedding, particularly the mattress and pillows, which we think could be a notch above to perfectly match the rest of the experience. But this is a minor detail and it absolutely didn't prevent us from having an excellent night's sleep and, above all, a wonderful stay.

We leave with very fond memories of this anniversary and this little getaway for two. ❤️

Pas beaucoup de mondes

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus Villa Saint-Antoine Hotel & Spa Clisson, ideally located in the heart of town.

The rooms were perfect. The bedding was very comfortable.

Everyone appreciated the quality and variety of the breakfast options. We shared this lovely moment together on the terrace in this exceptional setting: overlooking the Château and the Sèvre Nantaise river.

The staff contributed to making the stay I had envisioned a complete success. I highly recommend this hotel.

Located in the heart of Clisson. Comfortable hotel with many amenities.

The location is truly superb, right in the heart of the old town and opposite the castle, but the prices reflect this, especially if you want a room with a castle view and/or a balcony. The thick walls and low windows make the standard rooms inaccessible to shorter people. The rooms are very clean, the bedding very comfortable, but the standard rooms are far from deserving a 4-star rating. The staff is pleasant, friendly, and attentive. The hotel has private parking, which is a plus, especially in an old town, but the €15 fee seems excessive. We were disappointed by the breakfast; although very varied, it doesn't justify the price. The baguette was day old (or even older), and the machine-made coffee (ground) is not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. We were also shocked by the butter and various sugars sold loose (unwrapped). In short, we don't regret our stay at all, but overall, we were a little disappointed by our first experience in a 4-star hotel in France. In our opinion, the price is excessive.
