Best Western Plus Villa Saint Antoine Hotel & Spa
Great location, nice staff
Awesome experience at the Best Western. Last-minute booking, very helpful and attentive staff. The room had a stunning view of the waterfall and castle.
We received a romantic weekend at this hotel with dinner and breakfast as a gift. It was perfect! A very nice location, a quiet and comfortable hotel. The staff was lovely and helpful. The meals were simple but excellent, with quality ingredients.
The hotel is ideally located for exploring the entire city on foot.
The hotel parking is paid but secure and very easy to access. We recommend this weekend package!

A quick recap of our stay there. One night, including a restaurant and spa (+ scrub) for two, as part of a smartbox.
About the room: a basic room, with a huge stain on the carpet (in a 4-star hotel, it's a stain... no pun intended), and cobwebs. The bathroom seams were black and dirty. The toilet in the bathroom was so tightly stuck to the glass shower wall that you had to relieve yourself on the other side (probably an architectural concept we didn't understand).
About breakfast: we arrived at 9:30 a.m. and there was almost nothing left at the buffet. The tables were full of other guests' waste; the accumulation was clearly intentional. We managed to make our way through the food crumbs and dishes to find a table, until we wondered: where are the cutlery? Several residents told us they had to take cutlery and cups from the restaurant tables since nothing was available.
About the SPA: A new experience for us. We arrived in a room with a jacuzzi and a hammam with a shower. Our attention was immediately drawn, without needing to zoom in, to the paint in the room, which was peeling from humidity, as was the tiled floor. In the jacuzzi, the head pillows were black with mold. The jacuzzi's last maintenance was 37 days out of date. A sign on the wall indicated that the last "health" inspection was in 2023...
However, I would like to highlight the professionalism, friendliness, and smiles of the staff. The scrub at the SPA was pleasant; we were well informed both at the SPA and at the hotel.
The restaurant is a big plus; the dishes were well prepared, original, and delicious.
For an experience offered as part of a smartbox, this is a disappointment, especially for a 4-star hotel. The price reflects the location (across from the castle), but the quality, and especially the cleanliness expected of a 4-star hotel, is NOT AT ALL up to scratch. This review is not intended to denigrate the hotel, but to promote its development and warn future guests.
I do not recommend this establishment.

A hotel full of character in a sublime village.
Your stay will be most relaxing. An idyllic setting on the banks of the Sèvre. A beautifully designed terrace offers a view of Clisson Castle, with the added bonus of dynamic lighting in the evening.
But above all, the kindness and professionalism of the staff must be emphasized.
Attentive and responsive, they all contributed to making our stay very pleasant.
The breakfast is generous and varied.
