Best Western Plus Villa Saint Antoine Hotel & Spa
Located in the heart of Clisson. Comfortable hotel with many amenities.
The location is truly superb, right in the heart of the old town and opposite the castle, but the prices reflect this, especially if you want a room with a castle view and/or a balcony. The thick walls and low windows make the standard rooms inaccessible to shorter people. The rooms are very clean, the bedding very comfortable, but the standard rooms are far from deserving a 4-star rating. The staff is pleasant, friendly, and attentive. The hotel has private parking, which is a plus, especially in an old town, but the €15 fee seems excessive. We were disappointed by the breakfast; although very varied, it doesn't justify the price. The baguette was day old (or even older), and the machine-made coffee (ground) is not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. We were also shocked by the butter and various sugars sold loose (unwrapped). In short, we don't regret our stay at all, but overall, we were a little disappointed by our first experience in a 4-star hotel in France. In our opinion, the price is excessive.

Completely satisfied with the €25 set menu (starter, main course, dessert). Delicious flavors throughout the meal.
The welcome was impeccable, as was the service (from the young, experienced staff to the more experienced ones).

The Best Western "Villa Saint Antoine" is a lovely place to stay, situated in a peaceful setting with a beautiful view of the Sèvre Nantaise river.
The terrace, with its shades of seafoam green and charcoal gray, contributes to a serene atmosphere.
We were greeted by a very courteous waiter 😊 and ordered a mint tea and a double espresso.
It's a shame that a few details marred this experience.
I had specifically requested an ashtray. It was brought to us, but it had already been used, was dirty, and full of ashes. 🙃
Furthermore, the sugar and teaspoon had been forgotten (he apologized), and we had to ask for them. 🙃
In an establishment of your caliber, these points deserve special attention as they contribute to the quality of the service and, above all, to the image of your hotel.
The restrooms, on the other hand, were very clean ☺️

The rooms were perfect. The bedding was very comfortable.
Everyone appreciated the quality and variety of the breakfast options. We shared this lovely moment together on the terrace in this exceptional setting: overlooking the Château and the Sèvre Nantaise river.
The staff contributed to making the stay I had envisioned a complete success. I highly recommend this hotel.
